Our directors have experience of the intermediary asset finance market and all have a direct personal involvement in the day-to-day transactional dialogue with our small panel of supporting brokers.
Our Directors
Gerard Moon
With more than 20 years’ experience in the asset finance market, Gerard is well-known in the UK leasing sector, having both managed and established various asset finance businesses.
He has worked at board level as Finance Director and Chief Executive of several lenders and also spent time working for a leading UK asset finance consultancy.
Iain Corbett
With 30 years’ experience in the asset finance industry, Iain has held a variety of sales, credit and senior leadership roles across over his career to date.
Iain is a well-known and respected figure in the industry, particularly among the intermediary and broker community, an area where several of his previous roles have seen him operate.
Having led the asset finance division of a UK clearer for more than 5 years, and worked in several smaller lenders, he has good all-round experience of the market.
Martin Stewart
Martin has worked in the industry since graduating in 2004 with an Accountancy degree and is an experienced finance professional.
CIMA qualified since 2011, he has worked with several major lenders, holding a variety of roles over his career and has a highly developed understanding of the financial and technical aspects of the industry.
Most recently Martin was part of a Senior Management team that successfully established and grew a new asset finance business on behalf of a major bank.
Gary Slavin
Gary joined the leasing sector in 2005 and has worked with several major funders as well having management experience with a leading telecoms provider.
With a broad background in managing administration, customer services, and commercial support teams, Gary is an experienced people and project manager.
For the last 3 years he held the post of Head of Operations for a leasing division of a major bank overseeing the back office functions. Gary is currently studying toward his CIMA qualification
Gordon MacGregor
Gordon has worked in the asset finance sector for nearly 25 years, holding a variety of senior management positions over that time.
For more than half of his fifteen years’ service at RBS Group, he was responsible for managing and developing Lombard’s activities and operations in the East of Scotland. More recently, he successfully helped a leading merchant bank establish a new customer proposition aimed at medium sized and corporate businesses.
Gordon is a respected and well-known figure in the Scottish asset finance market who has a deep understanding of what it takes to lend into the SME sector.
Bruce Wood
Partner in the major law firm Morton Fraser for over 40 years, Bruce Wood is one of the UK’s leading asset finance lawyers.
Legal 500 described Bruce as ’Mr Asset Finance, Scotland’ and he is an influential and highly respected voice in the industry.
